Your Privacy Matters

At NEURA CV, we prioritize the protection of your personal information. This policy outlines our practices for collecting, using, and safeguarding your data when you use our services.

Essential Storage & App Functionality

Our application requires certain essential storage mechanisms to function properly. This includes data stored in your browser's localStorage and Redux state management:

Redux Root Storage

Essential for maintaining app state, user preferences, and ensuring a smooth user experience

Authentication

Securely storing login status and session information

Resume Data

Temporary storage of resume drafts and templates for offline functionality

User Settings

Storing your customization preferences and app configurations

This essential storage is required for the application to function properly and cannot be disabled. We ensure this data is stored securely and is only used for its intended purpose of providing you with a seamless resume building experience.

Information We Collect

  • Account information (email, name)
  • Resume and profile data
  • Usage analytics and preferences
  • Device and browser information
  • Job Agent preferences: target role, location, skills, work mode, seniority, schedule (cron and timezone), and blocked companies
  • Application pipeline: saved jobs, stages, and match scores
  • Search alert subscriptions and pending in-app alert state
  • Optional digest delivery: push subscription (OneSignal), WhatsApp number, linked Telegram ID, and email digest flags
  • Optional third-party API keys (SerpAPI, Adzuna, or TheirStack) for personalized job search — encrypted at rest, used only for your preferences, deleted when you disconnect or delete your account
  • Optional Gmail read-only access when you connect on My Drop or Automation — job-related message metadata and AI classification (see Gmail section below)

Job Agent & My Drop

  • Job search settings at /agent/settings drive catalog search, your daily drop, and application pipeline tracking at /agent/drop
  • NeuraCV's shared job catalog runs without your API keys; optional SerpAPI, Adzuna, or TheirStack connections add listings from your own third-party accounts
  • We store your preferences, pipeline stages, and match metadata to help you track applications
  • Product analytics for the jobs funnel may be collected subject to your cookie preferences where applicable

Job digests & search alerts

  • Scheduled digests include job titles, companies, and links to My Drop — not your full resume
  • Delivery channels are opt-in: web push (OneSignal), WhatsApp, Telegram, and email
  • Search alerts store your saved criteria and notify you when new catalog matches appear
  • Digest and alert links may include deep links (for example /agent/digest or /agent/drop with alert IDs) so you can return to matched roles

Gmail integration (optional)

  • If you connect Gmail, we request read-only OAuth access — we cannot send, edit, or delete emails in your inbox
  • We recommend using a dedicated job-hunting Gmail (separate from personal mail)
  • Consent is recorded before connect and again before each sync you start
  • Each sync scans up to 20 messages on My Drop or 50 on Automation from the last 90 days
  • OpenAI (subprocessor) classifies subject, sender, and snippet into job categories — we do not use Gmail data for advertising or sell it (Google Limited Use)
  • Retention: non-job metadata about 90 days; job-related metadata about 1 year; full message body removed after about 30 days
  • Encrypted OAuth tokens and classified metadata power My Drop insights; pipeline stage suggestions require your Accept before any change
  • Export or erase via Automation privacy controls; disconnect on My Drop removes stored integration data

How We Use Your Data

  • Providing resume building services
  • Matching and ranking jobs to your Agent preferences
  • Running scheduled daily digests and search-alert notifications
  • Maintaining your application pipeline on My Drop
  • Classifying job-related Gmail when you connect
  • Improving job search quality (including optional BYOK catalog queries)
  • Personalizing your experience
  • Improving our platform
  • Communicating updates and offers
  • Ensuring platform security

Information Sharing

  • We never sell your personal data
  • Limited sharing with service providers who help us operate the platform
  • Google (Gmail API, read-only when you connect Gmail)
  • OpenAI (Gmail email classification; skill suggestions where used)
  • OneSignal (web push digests when enabled)
  • Meta / WhatsApp Cloud API (optional WhatsApp digests)
  • Telegram (optional digest messages via your linked bot)
  • SerpAPI, Adzuna, or TheirStack (only when you connect your own keys — queries run on your account)
  • Compliance with legal requirements
  • With your explicit consent only

Data Security

  • Industry-standard encryption
  • Regular security audits
  • Secure data storage
  • Access controls and monitoring
  • Third-party API keys (BYOK): we delete our encrypted copy of SerpAPI, Adzuna, or TheirStack credentials when you disconnect or delete your account; we do not revoke keys at those vendors — rotate or revoke at the vendor if you want to invalidate a key there
